Spreader Mat

Spreader Mats are used to line the bed of NFT Grotanks and break the surface tension of the nutrient solution. This ensures it spreads evenly across the surface of the top tray so that plants receive consistent moisture and nutrients. The matting is made of finely layered strands of fibre to allow the solution to reach all of the plants in the system evenly so every plant is nourished equally, supporting healthy and balanced plant growth.

Available in either 25ft/7.6m, 50ft/15.2m, and 100ft/30.4m, the mat must be cut into lengths and a single layer placed in the tray for each crop. The roll width is 20cm for all sizes. Spreader mats can also be used as a base layer for pots to stop soil and coco from leaking out.
