Grodan Cubes

Although we recommend Cultilene over Grodan for some other products, these Mineral Wool (often referred to as Rockwool) Growing Cubes from Grodan are ideal as a growing medium on their own or as a means of supporting another medium such as Clay pebbles and growing cubes. They can also be used as a packing medium around the roots of clones grown in Aeroponic systems when they are put into transplant cubes.
It is possible to use these cubes as a growing medium on their own, but do be aware of the water retention. We would recommend using them with a drip-feed system such as the Wilma and standard hydroponic nutrients such as Canna or Plant Magic.
Available in either 20 litre or 90 litre bags.

Delivery Information
Most orders are shipped within 24 hours.
Orders are currently shipped with Parcelforce (Express 24 service for standard and heavy/bulky items) or DPD Local (Premium next-day), a signature will be required on delivery. We have been shipping orders for 15 years and our courier choices are subject to change as service levels fluctuate.
All orders are shipped on a next day courier service – you will be informed via email or SMS the evening your order leaves us so you know to expect it the next day. On the morning of delivery you will get another SMS or email informing you of the expected delivery time.

As the website calculates some charges by weight it is possible that shipping is not calculated correctly. We reserve the right to get in touch in these circumstances we will request the additional amount or offer to refund the order.
UK Delivery
Standard delivery to the UK Mainland addresses (excluding Scottish Highlands & Islands, offshore and N.I.) is charged at a flat rate of just £5.95 per order or £7.95 (for the premium next-day service), standard delivery (with Parcelforce) is free* for orders over £50.
*Large and/or heavy items attact a surcharge from our courier - shipping surcharges are calculated per item and are applied regardless of order value.
Non-UK mainland destinations are charged by weight.

Collect in Store (Bristol)
We now offer a 'collect in store' option, which allows you to pay for goods online and collect from our Bristol store at time that suits you (within our opening hours).
The process is simple:
- place your order and pay online, select 'Pick Up' at checkout;
- receive an email confirming that the order is ready for collection;
- bring/show your confirmation email and photo ID to collect your order.
