Hesi Feed Chart: Soil and Coco Grow Schedules Week by Week
This is the Hesi feed chart for soil and for coco, week by week, from Hesi's own grow schedules and set out so it reads on a phone. Hesi give every dose except SuperVit in ml per 10 litres of water, so divide by ten for ml per litre: 50 ml per 10 L is 5 ml per litre. Both schedules run from a cutting (the Clone column) through two weeks of growth and eight weeks of flowering, the last of them a flush with pure water.
Hesi soil feed chart
Hesi TNT Complex feeds the growth weeks, Hesi Bloom Complex takes over for flowering, and Hesi Phosphorus Plus joins it from bloom week 4. In soil, Hesi say to add fertiliser 1-2 times a week.

Hesi coco feed chart
The growth feed in coco is the same TNT Complex, at the same doses as in soil. Hesi Coco is the flowering feed, and Hesi PK 13/14 steps up through bloom weeks 4 to 7. Hesi say to use fertiliser with each watering in coco.

Notes from Hesi
- Water to the plant, not the calendar. Both schedules say to water only as often as your plants really need it: that depends on the plants and the size of the pots. How often the feed goes in is where the two charts differ: in soil Hesi say to add fertiliser 1-2 times a week, so any waterings beyond those are plain water; in coco the fertiliser goes in with each watering.
- Hesi Root Complex is the plant starter: for young plants 1-2 times a week until they are growing well, and 1-2 times for a plant under stress.
- Hesi PowerZyme goes in 1-2 times a week, together with the nutrients and boosters.
- Hesi SuperVit is used regularly, at 1 drop per 4.5 litres of water. The 10 ml bottle has a dropper top. Our SuperVit page also gives the rate as 1 ml per 65 litres, measured with the pipette supplied with the 50 ml and 100 ml bottles.
- Hesi Boost goes in once at the beginning of flowering (bloom week 1 on the charts), then 1-2 times a week when it comes back in bloom weeks 4 to 7. The charts leave it out in bloom weeks 2 and 3.
- Light. The schedules assume 18 hours of light in growth and 12 in flowering.
- Bloom week 8 is the flush on both charts: pure water only, with no feed and no boosters.
How to mix a Hesi feed
- Fill the tank or watering can with the water first.
- Add the base feed for that week (TNT Complex, Bloom Complex or Hesi Coco) and stir.
- Add the PK feed if the chart shows one that week (Phosphorus Plus in soil, PK 13/14 in coco), then the boosters one at a time, stirring between each.
- Check the pH last, once everything is in. See our pH and EC guide.
Hesi's schedules give doses and no EC figures, so measure each product out rather than mixing to an EC reading. There is more on EC meters under Quick answers below.
What you need
- Hesi TNT Complex - the growth feed, for soil or coco.
- Hesi Bloom Complex - the flowering feed for soil. Its page recommends a lightly fertilised soil such as Plagron Light Mix or Biobizz Light Mix, which gives you more control over the feeding.
- Hesi Coco - the one-part flowering feed for coco. Our page lists it in Hard and Soft versions: if you are not sure which you need, ask us before you order.
- Hesi Phosphorus Plus - the PK booster for the soil range.
- Hesi PK 13/14 - the PK booster for the coco range.
- Hesi Root Complex, Hesi PowerZyme, Hesi SuperVit and Hesi Boost - the boosters, the same on both schedules. The PowerZyme page says enzymes and liquid oxygen should not be used at the same time.

Quick answers
How much Hesi TNT Complex per litre?
5 ml per litre (50 ml per 10 litres) in the two growth weeks, and half that, 2.5 ml per litre (25 ml per 10 litres), for cuttings. That is the TNT Complex dosage on Hesi's soil schedule and on the coco one. Our Hesi Coco page suggests easing in: 35 ml per 10 litres in the first growth week and 50 in the second, depending on how your plants respond.
When do I start Hesi PK 13/14 or Phosphorus Plus?
From bloom week 4 to bloom week 7, alongside the flowering feed, which stays at 50 ml per 10 litres. In coco, PK 13/14 steps up each week: 2.5, 5, 7.5 and then 15 ml per 10 litres (0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and 1.5 ml per litre). In soil, Phosphorus Plus is 25 ml per 10 litres (2.5 ml per litre) in each of those four weeks. Both stop for the flush in bloom week 8.
Can I use an EC meter with Hesi?
Not to set the strength of the feed in the growth weeks: the TNT Complex page says most of its nitrogen is from an organic source, so you should not work to an EC reading with it. The Hesi Coco page says the meter works normally once you are feeding Hesi Coco in flowering. Either way, Hesi's schedules give no EC figures for soil or for coco, so go by the doses on the chart.
