About Other Additives
Tonics and stress relief
SUPERthrive is the old favourite, a concentrated vitamin and plant hormone tonic used a few drops at a time after transplanting or when plants are under stress. Hesi SuperVit does a similar job. Biobizz Alg-A-Mic is a cold-pressed seaweed extract for recovery and vigour, and Vitalink Heat and Hydrate help plants through hot spells.
Fulvic, humic and amino acids
T.A. Fulvic and Essentials Plus Fulvic improve nutrient uptake in every medium and are safe to run through the whole cycle. Dutchpro Amino Strength supplies amino acids the plant would otherwise have to build from nitrogen, which saves it energy in flower. Biobizz Bio Heaven and Acti-Vera are organic boosters in the same vein.
Foliar and finishing
Optic Foliar Switch and Transport are foliar sprays for use with the lights on; Biobizz Leaf Coat forms a protective film on the leaf. Rock Resinator is a late-flowering enhancer. Athena Cleanse and Dutchpro Keep It Clean keep drip lines and reservoirs free of build-up, and Athena Pro Fade is a finishing product for the final week.
