Canna Coco Feed Chart & Grow Guide: A & B, Additives, EC by Week

This is the CANNA COCO feed chart week by week: how much CANNA COCO A and B to use, when each additive goes in, and the EC to aim for. It is CANNA's own schedule, set out so it reads on a phone. The whole range is in our CANNA nutrients section, with the coco coir to go with it.

CANNA COCO feeding schedule

CANNA gives every dose in ml per 10 litres of water, so divide by ten for ml per litre: 26-33 ml per 10 L is 2.6-3.3 ml per litre. EC is in mS/cm. EC water is what CANNA assumes your water starts at; EC total is the finished feed.

Notes from CANNA

  • * Double CANNAZYM to 50 ml per 10 L if you are reusing the substrate.
  • ** CANNABOOST can go up to 40 ml per 10 L through flowering for extra strength.
  • For a longer growth phase, repeat the rooting period II doses (days 6-25). For a longer flowering phase, repeat the generative phase I doses (weeks 3-5).
  • PK 13/14 goes in for one week, 3-4 weeks before harvest.
  • The schedule is written for plants that flower or fruit, starting from a cutting or seedling about a week old. How long each phase lasts depends on the plant.

How to mix a CANNA COCO feed

  • Fill your tank or watering can with the water first.
  • Add COCO A and stir, then add COCO B and stir. Never mix A and B together neat: always dilute one before adding the other.
  • Add the additives for that week, one at a time, stirring between each.
  • Check the EC and the pH last, once everything is in. A pH pen or pH and EC meter takes the guesswork out.

What is CANNABOOST and how is it different from PK 13/14?

CANNABOOST is a flowering stimulator (its page calls it a sugar stimulator), used at 2-4 ml per litre; this chart has it in every week from W1, the first week on 12 hours of light, to W9. CANNA PK 13/14 is a concentrated phosphorus and potassium feed that goes in for one week only: 15 ml per 10 litres in W6, 3-4 weeks before harvest. This chart uses both, and our CANNABOOST page says that for significant increases in yield you will need a PK booster such as PK 13/14 as well. How much CANNABOOST per litre?

Between 2 and 4 ml per litre, the CANNABOOST page says. This chart gives 20 ml per 10 litres (2 ml per litre) in W1 and W2, the first two weeks on 12 hours of light, then 20-40 ml per 10 litres (2-4 ml per litre) from W3 to W9: CANNA say it can go up to 40 ml per 10 litres for extra strength.

What is CANNAZYM and when do I double it?

CANNAZYM is a blend of enzymes, with vitamins and extracts from desert plants, that breaks down dead root matter and turns it back into sugar the plant can use, its page says. This chart uses 25 ml per 10 litres (2.5 ml per litre) from day 6, and 25-50 ml per 10 litres in W8 and W9, the last two weeks: the note from CANNA says to double it to 50 ml per 10 litres if you are reusing the coco. The page also says to use it within six months of purchase, and that no enzyme product should be used with liquid oxygen (hydrogen peroxide, such as our Liquid Oxygen).
