Air Pots
Genuine Air-Pots in 1, 3, 5, 9, 12.5, 20 and 38 litre sizes. The cone-shaped wall air-prunes the roots, so the plant grows a mass of fine roots instead of a few long circling ones and takes up water and feed faster.

About Air Pots
How an Air-Pot works
Each cone in the wall ends in an open hole. Roots grow outwards into the cone, meet air, dry and stop, and the plant responds by sending out new roots behind the tip. Repeated across the whole pot, this builds a root ball that fills the volume. Water flows through freely, so overwatering is hard, and the open walls keep the medium aerated.
Using them
Air-Pots come flat: clip the wall together round the base disc and fill with your usual soil or coco. They drain fast, so water little and often, and stand them on a tray or saucer. The 20 litre is the popular final pot for indoor growers; the 1 and 3 litre sizes suit cuttings and seedlings on the way up.
