About Net Pots
What a net pot does
The open sides and base let roots grow straight out into the nutrient solution or the flooded pebbles, while the pot holds the plant and a handful of clay pebbles to steady it. In DWC the net pot sits in the lid of the bucket with its base just above the water; in NFT it sits on the spreader mat; in a flood and drain pot it lets the solution reach every root.
Sizes and use
Small mesh pots take a rockwool cube or a plug for propagation and early growth. The heavy duty pots hold a full plant in pebbles without distorting. Rinse the pebbles first, sit the cube in the middle, and don't pack the pebbles tight: roots need the gaps. Clay pebbles are under Growing Media.
