Why wear them
Resin, nutrient concentrates and disinfectants all belong on gloves rather than skin, and gloves stop the oils on your hands ending up on the plants. For trimming, a snug glove that resin can be peeled off is the difference between a clean job and a sticky one. Change them between plants when taking cuttings to avoid carrying disease across.
What to look for
A close fit for fine work, a textured palm for grip, and a material that shrugs off nutrients. Our all-purpose gloves are the everyday choice; ask in the shop about heavier gloves for cleaning.
