Description

Fade is a specialized nitrogen-free solution tailored for the finishing phase of plant growth, providing essential immobile nutrients such as calcium and microelements. This ensures that plants receive adequate nutrition without the risk of nutrient starvation during the vital ripening stage.

Excessive nitrogen can impede flower maturation, so it's crucial to reduce or eliminate nitrogen intake towards the end of the flowering cycle. This helps promote faster crop maturation and improves the quality of the flowers.

Through rigorous trials, we have observed that using Fade alongside Pro Bloom in the final three weeks of the flowering period significantly boosts cannabinoid and terpene levels. Importantly, this increase does not heighten the risk of nutrient deficiencies or bud rot.

Product Features:

  • Enhancer that is free from nitrogen, specifically designed for the finishing phase.
  • Formulated with optimal levels of calcium and microelements needed for the final stages.
  • Utilizes the same liquid dilution ratio as Pro Core, at 2 lbs per gallon of concentrate.
  • Designed to replace Pro Core during the last three weeks of flowering.

Application Guidelines: Administer 10-16 mL of Fade per gallon of water throughout the last three weeks of the flowering phase.

Refer to the provided Feed Schedules for detailed application instructions.

Best Practices:

  • Ensure thorough shaking before use.
  • Always use clean measuring instruments and avoid contaminating the bottle.
  • Regularly check the Electrical Conductivity (EC) and adjust as necessary based on the specific crop and stage of growth.
  • After mixing all fertilizers and additives, adjust the pH to the appropriate levels.
  • Avoid mixing in concentrated forms directly.
  • Store the product in its original packaging, tightly closed, and keep it at temperatures between 45°F and 85°F.

How to use

Too much nitrogen late in flowering slows ripening, so Fade replaces Pro Core at the end of the run and is used alongside Pro Bloom. It still supplies the calcium and microelements the plant needs, so it does not go short while it ripens.

Athena's Pro chart uses Fade at 51 ml per 10 litres in flower weeks 8 and 9, or from week 7 if the plant is standing up well. The label gives 10 to 16 ml per US gallon over the last three weeks of flowering.

  • Shake well before use and use clean measuring cups.
  • Never mix it with other products while concentrated.
  • Mix in all the fertilisers and additives, then adjust the pH. Check the pH when you switch from Pro Core.

Questions

Why stop nitrogen at the end of flowering?

Too much nitrogen slows down the ripening of the flowers. Cutting it out towards the end helps the crop mature faster and improves quality.

Do I use Fade and Pro Core together?

No. Fade replaces Pro Core for the last weeks of flowering. It is used alongside Pro Bloom.

When do I switch to Fade?

Athena's chart switches in flower weeks 8 and 9, or from week 7 if the plant is standing up well. The label says the last three weeks of flowering.
