About Fittings
Building a run
A barbed fitting pushes into soft pipe and grips it. Start at the tank with a tub outlet through the tank wall, an inline tap to shut it off, and an inline filter to keep grit out of the drippers. Run the main line with straight connectors and T-pieces to branch off to each pot; an 8-outlet manifold feeds eight drippers from one supply. End stops close the run. A 16mm non-return valve stops water siphoning back to the tank when the pump stops.
Auto top-up
The Hydroflow kit is a float valve that keeps a tank topped up from a mains supply or a header tank, so a system never runs dry while you're away. Pair it with a water filter from Water Filtration so the top-up water is clean.
