About Hanging Equipment
Rope ratchets
A pair of rope ratchets holds a light, carbon filter or fan from the tent frame and lets you raise or lower it in seconds by pulling the cord, with the ratchet locking at any height. They are the standard way to hang a grow light, and to raise it as the plants grow. Rated for heavy fixtures.
Jack chain
Jack chain is the traditional way to hang a reflector or a filter at a fixed height: strong, cheap and cut to length. Use it for anything that won't need adjusting, and for filters, which are heavy and stay put.
