About Clip Fans
Why a clip fan
A gentle breeze over the leaves stops still air collecting around them, which keeps temperature and humidity even, strengthens stems and makes mildew far less likely. One clip fan does a 60 to 100cm tent; larger tents want one at each end or a floor fan as well.
Setting it up
Aim the fan so the leaves move slightly, not so they thrash. Point it across the canopy or at the tent wall rather than straight at one plant, and move it up as the plants grow. The Cloudray oscillates and runs on a schedule; the Maxifan is the simple, quiet budget option.
