About Heaters
Tube or fan heater?
A tube heater is low-wattage and runs for hours, keeping a small room or tent above a minimum overnight without drying the air; it is the right choice for lights-off in a tent. A fan heater lifts a bigger room quickly and is best on a thermostat. The Thermoforge is the smart option: it holds a temperature or a vapour pressure deficit and links to AC Infinity's controller.
Run it on a thermostat
A heater without a thermostat either runs all night or not at all. The Day and Night controllers under Environment and Fan Speed Controllers switch a heater on at a set temperature and can hold different settings for lights-on and lights-off. Reservoir heaters for keeping a nutrient tank warm are under Nutrient Management.
