How to use
Clip the fan to a tent pole or shelf and aim it across or just above the plants, not straight at one leaf from close range. Moving air strengthens stems and stops hot, humid pockets forming in the canopy.
Use the lower speeds for seedlings and young plants, and turn it up as the plants fill the space. For other sizes and styles see our clip fans.
Questions
Which Cloudray size do I need?
The number in the name is the blade size: S4 is 100 mm, S6 and A6 are 150 mm, S9 and A9 are 225 mm. Smaller fans suit small tents and propagation areas; the 225 mm models move air across a larger canopy.
Is a clip fan the same as an extractor fan?
No. A clip fan moves the air around inside the tent. You still need an extractor fan to change the air and remove heat and humidity.
