How to use

The Q-Max EC needs a controller to run, so order one with it from our fan speed controllers. It plugs in through the jack connection on the fan.

Fit the fan after the carbon filter and run the ducting from its outlet. Turn the speed down on the controller when you need it quieter. See how to size a fan and carbon filter.

Questions

Does the Q-Max EC come with a controller?

No. The fan needs a controller to run, and it is sold separately.

Why is it so quiet?

The fan sits inside a metal silencer lined with acoustic foam, and the EC motor can be turned right down.
