Description
Conductivity standard for use in calibrating all types of nutrient meters and useful for checking the Bluelab Truncheons, though you cannot calibrate the truncheon as such it can lose accuracy when it needs a clean or resetting.
Two levels of conductivity are available, 1.41 mS/cm and 2.76 mS/cm. Both come in 300ml bottles.
Calibration of all measuring equipment should be performed weekly to ensure accuracy with critical nutrient solution measurements.

How to use
Calibrate your EC meter once a week, following the meter's instructions, with the strength of standard it asks for. A Bluelab Truncheon cannot be calibrated as such, but the standard is a quick way to check whether it needs a clean or a reset.

Can I use it to check a Bluelab Truncheon?
Yes. You cannot calibrate a Truncheon, but dipping it in the standard shows whether it is still reading correctly. If it is not, it needs cleaning or resetting.
