How to use
Fill and plant as you would a plastic pot, and stand it on a tray or saucer: water drains through the sides as well as the base. In a recirculating system the fabric also acts as a filter between the growing medium and the reservoir.
Questions
Why use a fabric pot over a plastic one?
The fabric lets air in all round the root ball. Roots that reach the side are air-pruned and branch, so the root system ends up denser, and the root zone stays cooler. Drainage is excellent because the whole pot is porous.
Can fabric pots be used in recirculating systems?
Yes. The fabric acts as a filter between the growing medium and the reservoir.
