The Hydrogarden CO₂ Release Kit comes ready assembled and all you will need to do is attach it to a suitable vapour release CO₂ bottle. It is important that you ensure the removable fibre washer (on the regulator stem) is fitted to the nut joining the gas bottle for a complete seal. The Release Kit will come complete with all instructions and ample CO₂ tubing. Simply attach the tubing to the barbed fitting on the base of the regulator . Note that the barbed fitting is quite a lot smaller than the tubing. This is easily rectified by attaching a cable tie or ratchet clip around the tubing and fitting to give a tight fit.

Danger: CO₂ is an asphyxiant in high concentrations - please monitor CO₂ levels to ensure there is no build-up/ danger to humans or animals.

Recommended, especially if growing under LED lighting.

How to use

The kit comes assembled. To fit it:

Check the removable fibre washer is in place on the regulator stem, on the nut that joins the gas bottle. Without it the joint will not seal.
Screw the regulator onto a vapour release CO2 bottle.
Push the tubing onto the barbed fitting at the base of the regulator. The fitting is a lot smaller than the tubing, so tighten it with a cable tie or ratchet clip.
Run the tubing to the grow area and set the release with the regulator.

CO2 is an asphyxiant at high levels. Always monitor the level, for example with a CO2 monitor, so it cannot build up and harm people or animals. Hydrogarden recommend the kit especially when growing under LED lighting.
