How to use
Pick the model by how high the pump has to lift the water and how much it has to move. The head is the highest it can lift water; at that height the flow drops to nothing, so choose a pump with a maximum head well above your system's.

Questions
What does the head figure mean?
It is the maximum height the pump can lift water. All the figures quoted are maximums, so in use the flow will be lower than the number given, especially near the top of the head.
