How to use

Hang the carbon filter high in the tent or room, connect it to the fan, and run the ducting from the fan to where the air is to go. Secure the joints with the jubilee clips supplied, then plug the fan in with the 5 m power lead. Combi ducting is tough and flexible, so it is easy to route round the setup.

The fan moves 500 m³/h and the filter is rated for 600 m³/h. To check that against your tent, see how to size a fan and carbon filter.

The parts are also sold on their own: AIR fans, Rhino Hobby filters and combi ducting. The same AIR AC150 kit also comes with acoustic ducting or with a Rhino Pro filter. See all fan and filter kits.

Questions

How much air does the AIR AC150 kit move?

The fan is rated at 500 m³/h and the Rhino Hobby 150/300 carbon filter at 600 m³/h. Our fan and carbon filter sizing guide shows how to check those figures against your tent.

What size and length is the ducting?

150 mm combi ducting, 5 metres long.

Is there a quieter version?

Yes. The AIR AC150 kit is also sold with acoustic ducting, which works as a baffle and reduces the noise from the fan.
