Description
Combi ducting like all flexible ducting is based on a steel-wire spiral structure, with Combi ducting the wall is a laminate with the inner layer made of aluminium which is bonded to a PVC outer layer.
Where noise is not an issue or when providing a duct for air to be drawn passively to the lower regions of the growing area Combi is a great choice. All it really has over standard ducting is that it is more robust so if it is going to be pulled and dragged around it is definitely the preferred option.
Available in 5m or 10m lengths.

How to use
Combi is a good choice where noise is not an issue, or for a passive intake duct that lets air be drawn into the lower part of the growing area. Its main advantage over standard aluminium ducting is strength: choose it if the ducting will be pulled and dragged around.
Where fan noise matters, use acoustic ducting. Secure each end with ducting jubilee clips.
Questions
Is Combi ducting quieter than standard ducting?
No. Its advantage is that it is tougher. For less noise, use acoustic ducting.
What lengths does it come in?
5 m or 10 m, in 100 to 315 mm sizes.
