How to use

Hang the Rhino Pro 315/600 filter high in the tent and connect it to the intake side of the fan. Run the 315 mm acoustic ducting from the fan's outlet to where the air is to leave, and tighten a jubilee clip over each joint; the cable ties help hold the ducting in place. Plug the fan in with the 5 m power lead. Keep the duct run short with as few bends as you can: every bend cuts the airflow.

Is the carbon filter big enough for the fan?

Yes. The filter is rated at 2,440 m³/h and the fan at 2,300 m³/h, so the filter will not hold the fan back.

What size tent does this kit suit?

Work it out from the airflow: the fan is rated at 2,300 m³/h. Our fan sizing guide shows the airflow each tent size needs, with the allowance for the filter and ducting.

What does the acoustic ducting do?

It works as a baffle: the fan noise is deadened as the air travels along it, so the kit runs quieter than one with plain ducting.
