Description
These professional quality Fast Clamps are perfectly designed for joining two rigid items such as fans, filters and silencers.
The clamps can be tightened via the two bolts and the neoprene lining will help to reduce noise caused by vibrations - we still recommend tape to ensure air-tightness.
It should be noted that these clamps are not recommended for joining lengths of ducting due to the flexible nature of aluminium ducting. Instead we would recommend using a Coupler and Ducting Jubilee Clips.

How to use
Butt the two rigid parts together, fit the clamp over the joint and tighten the two bolts. The neoprene lining cuts down noise from vibration. Tape the joint as well to make it airtight: heat-resistant metal tape does the job.
To join two lengths of flexible ducting, use a coupler and ducting jubilee clips instead.
Questions
Can I join two lengths of ducting with a Fast Clamp?
It is not recommended, because aluminium ducting is flexible. Use a male coupler inside both ends and secure them with ducting jubilee clips.
Is the clamp airtight on its own?
Tape the joint as well to be sure of an airtight seal.
